Visualisation
Visualisation - often referred to as Creative Visualisation - involves using the imagination to create visual ideas in order to manifest our wishes and achieve our goals.
It is a technique that is used in areas as diverse as psychotherapy, sport, business, health and religion.
The main idea is to create a vivid mental picture of something you would like to achieve as if you have already achieved it.
For example, if you wish to attain financial prosperity, you could create a mental picture of yourself holding a huge wad of cash. Or if you wish to lose some weight, you could create a
mental image of your figure at the desired weight.
Author and personal development instructor, Shakti Gawain wrote the best-selling book Creative Visualisation which explains these techniques.
Of course, it is not enough just to visualise what you wish to achieve. You have to take the necessary steps to achieve your goal.
But imagining what you would like to achieve is the first step to attaining your desires.
Thought + Imagination + Will + Action are the stepping stones for manifesting a desired goal.
Everything in the Universe is made of energy. Even our thoughts are made of energy.
Energy creates events. Therefore thoughts, like magnets, attract and create events and can influence circumstances for good or for ill.

Positive techniques can therefore be used to create abundance, eliminate negative behaviour patterns and stimulate healing.
